You got us started, and now things down at the World Theatre are rolling. The wall is down, the new marquee is up, architectural plans are drawn, and now we're excited to announce that we've been awarded two substantial grants.

The Peter Kiewit Foundation has awarded the theatre $100,000, and in addition, Gov. Dave Heinemann awarded us a $300,000 grant under the Department of Economic Development's Nebraska Tourism Development Initiative.

The twist is, in order for us to receive these matching grants, we've still got some work to do. We have to raise $175,000. We did it before. We raised $169,000 in 90 days last year and we think we can do it again. There's a lot more on the table now, and more than ever we need your help -- together we can save The World!
